Accessibility
Not all of us use the same operating system. Let alone the same browser. And every day there are more people connecting to the internet using cutting-edge cellphones and PDA's.
Conforming to accessibility standards we can develop a website accessible to every user, regardless of the platform their using or their disabilities.
If we want to, we can apply different styles to our website so that it takes advantage of the features of each device the best way possible; being certain that the user will be able to access the information.
Unfortunately, accessibility isn't always taking into account when developing websites. Nevertheless, it's imporant to clarify that you needn't compromise interactivity or graphics when designing an accessible site. The key is in making websites that degrade gracefully: animations and modern effects may not work if an older browser or device is being used, but you will always be able to access the content.
