Web Standards

While developing a website, it's important to conform to the standards proposed by the W3C so that it will be compatible with a broad number of browsers and electronic devices.

The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) is the entity in charge of regulating the "rules" that must be followed when working with languages designed for structuring websites, and their objective is to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web.

With the popularization of Smartphones and PDA's, there is a great diversity of electronic devices accessing the information available on the internet. The only way to make this work is by establishing certain rules.

Conforming to standards, we can forget about the large number of devices, operating systems and browsers; we can rest assure that everybody will be able to access our website's content.
